I found this film inspiring in regards to process. Tommy Caldwell went to El Capitan every year for 7 years mapping out every single pitch of the climb that would later attract the attention of the world.
I found that hard work inspiring. It made me wonder, what are the projects I would work that hard on? How hard am I willing to work for the things I dream about?
When I watched this video later, I felt like I could clearly see the influence of rock climbing. There are places where I see myself replicating movements I saw in this film, literally "climbing" the sling. In other sections it almost seems like I'm dangling in a harness, looking out over Yosemite Valley.
